Command Palette & Keyboard Shortcuts
Every feature in TrackLab is one keystroke away. Press Cmd + K to open the command palette, type what you need, and hit Enter.
Getting Started
Three steps to navigate TrackLab at the speed of thought.
- Open the palette — Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux) to open the command palette from anywhere in the app.
- Type to filter — Start typing to filter commands — the list narrows instantly as you type. No need to remember exact names.
- Execute or dismiss — Press Enter to execute the selected command, or Esc to close the palette and return to your work.
You can also click the trigger button in the header — it shows a ⌘K hint as a visual reminder.

These shortcuts work from any page in the application.

Navigation Sequences
Press G followed by a letter to navigate directly to any page. The sequence has a 1-second timeout — if you wait too long between keys, the buffer resets.

Context-Aware Commands
The command palette adapts to your current view. When you're on a detail page, additional commands appear automatically based on your context.
Collector Detail
When viewing a collector, the palette adds quick links to its subsections: Collector Info, Collector Parameters, and Collector Firmware.
Parameters
From the parameters view, jump directly to Collector view or Broadcast updates.
Notifications
Navigate between Notification Channels, Notification Templates, and Notification Policies without leaving the notification context.

- The palette is permission-aware — commands are filtered by what's available to your role. System admin shortcuts only appear for admin users.
- Navigation sequences use a 1-second buffer — type the full sequence quickly. If you pause too long, the buffer resets and you can start over.
- The command palette trigger button in the header shows ⌘K as a visual reminder that the shortcut is available.
