Command Palette & Keyboard Shortcuts

Every feature in TrackLab is one keystroke away. Press Cmd + K to open the command palette, type what you need, and hit Enter.

Getting Started

Three steps to navigate TrackLab at the speed of thought.

  1. Open the palette — Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux) to open the command palette from anywhere in the app.
  2. Type to filter — Start typing to filter commands — the list narrows instantly as you type. No need to remember exact names.
  3. Execute or dismiss — Press Enter to execute the selected command, or Esc to close the palette and return to your work.

You can also click the trigger button in the header — it shows a ⌘K hint as a visual reminder.

Press ? anywhere to see a printable shortcuts cheat sheet.

  • The palette is permission-aware — commands are filtered by what's available to your role. System admin shortcuts only appear for admin users.
  • Navigation sequences use a 1-second buffer — type the full sequence quickly. If you pause too long, the buffer resets and you can start over.
  • The command palette trigger button in the header shows ⌘K as a visual reminder that the shortcut is available.
